It seems as though Facebook has taken over from so many blogs in recent days, including my own, which in truth, had barely got off the ground. Facebook is handy. I tend to jump in & out of my Facebook page, quick stats check, quick info drop or pics of my soapy business, that sort of thing. I use it mainly as it’s so convenient & truth is, that’s the place friends & customers tend to ‘hang out’ so to speak, so…
Anyhoo, I won’t abandon my blog just yet, that would be silly. I want to see if I can make it work. I really must not forget that I have this particular string to my webospheric bow, although it does seem as though it is lost in space somewhat. I really will try to drop posts here more often, (crumbs, it occurs to me that I may well be sounding more than a bit lame! Am I making idle promises to myself & posting them for all & sundry to chortle over I wonder? Hmmmm, hope not).
So anyway, this post is a little note to say yes, I am still soaping, yes, I am still selling my soaps here & here & yes, ‘I’ll be back’…
Yup, a tornado swirl. Never heard of it? It’s no surprise, I just invented it! Whoop!! Oh, & the soap is called ‘Dreamboat’!
So, ‘Dreamboat’ has a fruity floral scent; mandarin, blood orange & plum, with orange blossom, honeysuckle & a hint of Amyris.
I plan to make a few more using this technique, so when I get the chance, I will doubtless share how to do it. Eventually.
Well ’tis the season and I am all kinds of busy! Mainly of a horticultural variety; digging, weeding, hacking back, sowing, potting on, you name it, its all go here & on the allotment affectionately (and somewhat affectatiously) also known as the farm. Then, of course, there’s the soaping…
That said, I have been a tardy lardy in terms of posting, but I will make an effort to squeeze in some content.
For now, here’s a post of some Luffa seedlings grown for soap embeds.
This is the first post. It is a test. It most certainly is on this seat. Ouch.
